Poplar, a wood with rather fast growth rates, is light and easy to work and season.

It is light in colour, sometimes differentiated with whitish sapwood and brown heartwood. Although we are always used to seeing poplar crops, these “woods” still bring benefits to the environment: in fact, each poplar uses 850 m3 of carbon dioxide for every cubic meter of wood generated, obviously releasing oxygen.
